NiMH Battery Smart Charger

This universal fast smart charger for NiMH and NiCD rechargable batteries can be used to recharge battery packs from 9.6Vdc-18Vdc made of 8 to 15 cells.

Its auto shutoff functionality detects the battery's capacity and automatically stops charging the battery when it is full.

Operating Instructions

• Check that your battery polarity is correct (centre pin positive.)
• Select charge setting: 900** - 2800mAH use the 0.9A setting, >2800mAh use the 1.8A setting.
• Connect the battery to the smart charger and then plug the charger into an AC power source.
• When the smart charger is connected to the AC source, the red and green LEDs will flash in sequence and then turn off.
• Connect the battery pack and the red LED will light to show that the battery is charging. The battery will be charged at 0.9A or 1.8A constant current.
• After the smart charger detects the -ΔV the green LED will turn on and the battery charging is completed.
• The smart charger will continue to trickle charge the battery once the green LED is turned on. The trickle-off charging
  current is 1/20 of the fast charging current.

**Please note that the NiMH Smart Charger will work with our 800mAh batteries, the cells have been carefully selected so that they are chargeable on this charger.

Simply use the 0.9A setting to charge our 800mAH battery packs.
