Swisson XSR Series DMX and RDM Opto-Isolator

The Swisson XSR Series RDM and DMX Opto-Splitters use optical isolation to completely isolate and boost both DMX and RDM signals. The isolation prevents signal disturbances on separate outputs from affecting other outputs or travelling back through to the input signal connectors.

Each isolating device allows for one (1) input, one (1) non-isolated through (thru) connector and (5) five isolated outputs. The dual rack-mount version of the device contains two separate five (5) output isolating devices. While isolating the signal the XSR Series Opto-isolators actively scan for DMX and RDM disturbances in real time and the XSR Device will both isolate the signal and regenerate it as necessary.

The input DMX line can be terminated simply but pushing a button. RDM capabilities can also be turned on and off at the push of a button if required.

The XSR Series Opto-Isolators allow isolated RDM to travel back to the RDM controllers which will allow you to monitor and make changes to RDM enabled devices on the DMX daisy chain.
